What sets Paquita apart is how close it is to the water.
The open-plan living area leads through large glass doors onto the wooden deck. From here, the lagoon stretches out directly in front of the house.
The view also changes with the tide. At lower tide, more sand and shallows appear. As the tide comes in, the water fills the shoreline again.
The beach is directly below, so it is easy to come and go throughout the day. Take a walk on the sand, head out for a paddle or spend a few quiet minutes beside the water.
There are also sun loungers on the deck, making it a lovely spot for a sunny afternoon.
Easy self-catering
The main living spaces are downstairs. The open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge all connect easily with the deck outside.
The kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. You will also find Le Creuset cookware, while a Weber braai (BBQ) is available outside.
For an easier arrival, guests can pre-order groceries. Our team can receive the delivery and place everything in the villa before check-in.
Space for everyone
All three bedrooms are upstairs, and each has its own en-suite bathroom.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a private balcony overlooking the lagoon. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the third has twin beds.
This mix of king, double and twin beds makes Paquita flexible for different groups. It works well for families, couples travelling together or a small group of friends.
Time on the lagoon
Guests have complimentary use of the kayaks and paddle boards available from the beach. When tides and conditions are suitable, it is easy to head out for some time on the lagoon.
There is plenty to explore beyond the water too.
The Knysna Heads are close by, along with the viewpoints, Coney Glen and restaurants around the Eastern Head. The Waterfront and Thesen Island are a short drive away for shopping, lunch or dinner.
Further afield, Knysna’s forests, golf courses and the wider Garden Route offer plenty of options for a day out.
A good fit for families and small groups
Paquita is particularly well suited to families who want easy access to the beach and lagoon.
The three-bedroom layout also works well for couples travelling together or grandparents joining a family holiday. Small groups of friends will find it comfortable too.
Upstairs, everyone has some privacy. Downstairs, the open-plan living areas and large deck give the group plenty of space to spend time together.
