It is winter and as locals, we are always looking for a nice new spot to visit and ‘support locals’! As the world ebbs and flows we thought of putting this list of new & old Coffee Shops together. There are some great new options across town, but we have not forgotten to mention the good old favourites.

ART CAFÉ ON QUEEN – Opening July 2021, 10 Queen Street, Knysna

THE SHED – Opened March 2021, 4 Spring Street, Knysna
Located in the centre of Knysna offering convenience to all customers with great coffee, smoothies, light meals, tasty treats and a super kids play area. Pop in, to where family and friends meet.
SALT & PETAL – Opened February 2021 at Metelerkamps
In the heart of the Knysna Shopping Quarter on Waterfront Drive, enjoy a delicious meal and refreshments with a friend or while you catch up on work. Shop stunning flowers or delicious treats in the store.
THE VILLAGE CAFÉ – Opened July 2020, off Waterfront Drive
Has an expansive outside garden with breath-taking views towards the Knysna Heads, a cosy inside seating area, fantastic kiddies’ playground and doggies are welcome too! Amazing food including the best carrot cake in town, freshly brewed coffee and free Wi-Fi.
COFFEE CRAFT – Opened December 2020, Leisure Isle
Tucked away in the peaceful streets of Leisure Isle, rests our little piece of caffeinated heaven. We serve you only the finest coffee and delicious meals from Monday to Saturday. Our coffee will leave you with a taste of inspiration that keeps you coming back for more.
TRINITY – Opened June 2019, 7b Nelson’s Street
An artisan roastery nestled away in a coastal town, Knysna. Established in 2019, with a task to bring speciality coffee to Knysna. The name Trinity is a representation of the group of 3 things when it comes to the coffee industry, Farmer-Roaster-Cup.
SNOBS – Opened June 2018, Main Road
Eco-friendly espresso bar in the heart of Knysna. Our coffee is meticulously wood-roasted by our roastery in Paarl and we take pride in serving it daily to our customers.
