5 Fun Things to Do Around Knysna this Winter

Knysna is well known for its outdoor activities and many consider it the perfect place for a summer holiday. Our town does, however, offer plenty of warmth indoors too. Here are a few of our favourite winter spots around Knysna.

Visit Old Nick Village

Activities at the Village include guided tours of the Mungo Weaving Mill, the Old Nick Midweek Market, the Tree Walk which helps to identify the indigenous trees of the village (some have grown here for more than a hundred years), and the Benches – old weaving loom frames created more than 100 years ago and turned into benches.

Roost Café offers quirky breakfasts, lazy lunches, barista coffee, along with a bakery boasting fresh artisan breads, home-made preserves and unique craft items for sale.
